About To Break is a five-piece modern metal band from the Mannheim area, Germany, who have been working together on their own distinctive sound since 2023. Musically, the band combines modern heaviness with catchy melodies and versatile vocals. Heavy riffs meet melodic passages and a voice whose roots lie in R&B and soul. In 2025, the band released their first EP, “A Secret To Keep”, followed by the single “PATTERNS”. Since then, About To Break has continued to release new music, evolving and refining their sound with every release.
